RARE MONUMENTAL MOUNT WASHINGTON CUT TO CLEAR PRESENTATION CHALICE. This extraordinary piece features a bowl of ruby glass cut to clear, the lower portion with cut diamond repeating pineapple like design, the upper portion wonderfully engraved with sprays of flowers and a winged dragon. Lovely pair of crystal vases are mounted with classical design bronze fittings with handles extending from the horns of ram’s heads and floral sprays draping down from the shoulder. The marble foot leads to a bronze pedestal with acanthus leaf design surrounding the bottom of the crystal vases. WOOD & BAGLEY MONUMENTAL POTPOURRI. Beautiful porcelain potpourri jar has green background with rich blue and rust decoration of a pagoda and flowering plants. Two applied handles are crisscrossing twigs with gold trim. The decoration repeats itself on front and back. Potpourri is complete with a flat matching lid as well as a domed pierced lid with artichoke finial. FOUR MINIATURE PAINTINGS. Lot consists of two Persian paintings on bone, one showing a courtyard scene, the other depicting a courting couple. Each are painted on bone and housed in an ivory or bone frame. The other two are miniature Indian portraits of a nobleman and a woman, the man is dressed in a printed robe with matching turban and appears to be of importance. The lady is beautifully dressed and wearing a green shawl and a large pair of decorative earrings and what appears to be an ear cap on the top of the ear. SIZE: Large frames are 3-1/8″ x 4″. PAIR OF KPM PORTRAIT PLAQUES. Exceptional pair of KPM plaques features finely crafted portraits of a lady and gentleman. Each plaque is artist signed “Fr. Till. Dresden” for Franz Till of Dresden. Both plaques are signed “KPM” with the scepter. Each plaque is mounted in a spectacular enameled brass frame decorated with enameled flowers, stems and leaves. Each frame is set with six large 19 x 13mm mozambique garnet cabochons and the lot is accompanied by a jewelers appraisal of the cabochons alone. Each frame originally had numerous small garnet and turquoise stones surrounding the oval center of the frame as well as dotting the middle of each flower. The majority of those tiny stones are missing. SIZE: Overall 13-1/2″ x 11-1/2″. Plaques are 5″ x 7″ ovals. Lamp is topped with an ornate brass gallery and oil font. Lamp is finished with a nice threaded green shade with light iridescence to the threading showing nice purple highlights and tall chimney. EARLY TABLE LAMP. Crystal font stem and foot which appears to have been cut and polished. Although the lamp has been converted to kerosene burning, we believe it had its original life as a fluid glass or whale oil burning table lamp. it now has a BNA Victor burner, shade ring and 5″ ball shade to complete the lamp. EARLY STEM LAMP. Crystal font embossed in a variant bulls eye pattern. Top half of font is further decorated with an acid etched floral decor. The font is mounted on a green Baroque alabaster base. EARLY STEM LAMP. Crystal pear shaped font mounted on medium blue milk glass stem and foot. Embossed pattern of font is a combination of a bulls eye and extended loop pattern. Each bulls eye is additionally decorated with a five petaled gold flower. Above the top row of bulls eyes are two gold bands extending around the font top. SIZE: 12-5/8″ h with a #2 collar. Exceptional double fairy lamp has a Royal Worcester porcelain base depicting a girl standing by a tree with a bird nest and eggs in one hand looking to the sky for the birds that lost their nest. The figural base is done in a bright white glaze. Base supports a double cricklite frame which holds two Clarke cricklite inserts. Each signed “Cricklite Clarkes Patent Trade Mark”. Inserts are topped with a clear glass cricklite shade and are covered by two original yellow silk shades with beaded fringe. PAIR OF CRICKLITE CANDLE LAMPS. Unusual candle lamps have a gold colored tin foot with white celluloid riser and candle cover and are finished with a clear glass candle shade held in place with a metal shade holder which secures the shade from the inside as well as outside. Shade has an attached metal snuffer with a pull chain. When it was time to snuff out the candle, just pull the chain and the snuffer would drop onto the flame to extinguish it. Gold colored tin foot is impressed around the edge “Cricklite Clarkes Trade Mark”, while the bottom edge of the shade holder has raised letters “Cricklite”. SIZE: 12″ t. GIO PONTI DECORATED LAMP BASE. Hand painted Maiolica by Richard/Ginori circa 1920. This lamp base is decorated with golden cords and Odalisques figures against a sapphire blue ground which is a classic design by this artist. This exact example is pictured in the book Art Deco & Modernist Ceramics by Karen McCready; pg. 97 on a full color plate. MONUMENTAL MOSER APPLIED & DECORATED VASE. Spectacular Moser vase comes in two parts. Each piece is done in amberina with three dimensional applied flowers, stems and leaves on both front and back. Front of the vase is further decorated with applied three dimensional cherries and an applied bird standing above a cherry blossom. Background is all decorated with enameled leaves, stems and assorted insects. The ruffled rim and the foot of the vase are trimmed in gold. SIZE: 29-1/2″ t. MOSER APPLIED & DECORATED VASE. Exceptional Moser vase has light amber body and applied blue glass rim with drippings and applied blue glass rigaree at the foot. Vase is decorated with a large applied glass lizard or komodo dragon. Dragon has multicolored enameled scales on his back, orange and brown beaded dots on his head, legs and feet and open mouth with enameled white teeth. MOSER DECORATED SALAMANDER PITCHER. Exceptional Moser pitcher is blown in amber glass and features an applied three dimensional salamander handle with gilded body having red and blue enameled spots. The neck of the pitcher is decorated with an applied drip design gilded glass layer with seven brightly enameled insects encircling the neck. Body of the pitcher just below the spout features and applied three dimensional bird in flight with a background of brightly enameled oak leaves encircling the body of the pitcher. MOSER DECORATED PUNCH SET. Magnificent Moser punch set is blown in cranberry glass and decorated with two-tone gold gilding with panels descending from the top. Each panel is further decorated with applied and layered white, yellow and blue flowers. The flowers hang from stems and large leaves which are beautifully enameled. The applied flowers are deeply layered giving each piece of the punch set a deep three dimensional feel. The set consists of a footed punch bowl with lid, ladle and twelve punch cups. Punch bowl is marked on the underside “854 D2397”. SIZE: Punch bowl is 17″ to top of finial. Cups are 4-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Midwest Collection. CONDITION: Overall very good. Punch bowl has two shallow flakes to the foot; one on the exterior and one on the interior. Ladle has been broken and repaired. MOSER DECORATED EWER. Lovely Moser ewer is blown in cranberry glass with an applied gilt handle. The backside of the mouth of the ewer is split and folded forward and each fold is decorated with a brightly enameled bumblebee. Body of the ewer has allover decoration of gold grape leaves with a three dimensional applied blue bird in flight on the shoulder of the ewer directly under the spout. The bulbous body pitcher has pinched sides and allover decoration of brightly colored oak leaves and applied acorns. Pitcher is finished with an applied reeded handle with gold gilding. Each tumbler has matching enameled oak leaf decoration with a flying insect on front and back of tumbler. MOSER DECORATED SALAMANDER VASE. Lovely Moser vase is blown in light blue glass with an applied gilded rigaree lip and two gilded rigaree bands around the body. Central decoration is an applied salamander with gilded body having red and blue enameled spots with white speckling covering the entire body. The salamander rests among brightly enameled oak leaves and gilded stems which encircle the entire body and foot. Oak leaf decoration is further enhanced by numerous applied acorns. Wonderful Schneider vase done in the manner of Moser has light blue vertically ribbed body with three dimensional applied beetle and bumblebee with enameled floral decoration framing the insects. The leaves on the white flowers are applied creating a three dimensional image. Backside of the vase is enameled with a very simple design of green and brown enameled grasses. MOSER DECORATED CRUET. Lovely Moser cruet is blown in cranberry glass with a light amber applied handle and clear hollow blown stopper. Cruet is decorated with a brightly colored applied bird resting on an oak branch with enameled oak leaves and applied acorns. MOSER APPLIED GLASS PILLOW VASE. Diminutive pillow shaped vase has four applied curving shell feet in gold gilt. The body of the vase is of cranberry glass and is enameled with grape leaves, vines and butterflies with applied glass beads representing the clusters of grapes in green and yellow. The enameling is done in a multitude of colors including pink, yellow, red and green. Vase is finished at top with gold gilt. Signed on the underside “Moser 1187/0”. SIZE: 3-3/4″ t. PAIR OF MOSER TAZZAS. Wonderful pair of Moser tazzas are decorated on the inside of each bowl with a heavily applied and enameled bird. One of the birds has gray feathers, yellow bread and brown head while the other bird has green tail feathers, yellow breast and brown wing tips.
