DAUM SOUVENIR PITCHER. Wonderful Daum pitcher has cameo and enamel decoration set against an acid textured opalescent background. The center decoration on the pitcher depicts the industrial manufacturer Adolphe Fruhinsholz’s Pavilion at the 1900 International Exhibition in Paris. The Pavilion depiction is surrounded by black stems of vines with cameo leaves and red enameled berries. Pitcher has the words “Souvenir de l’Exposition 1900 Le plus grand foudre du monde Ad. Fruhinsholz Nancy”. Signed on the underside with engraved “Daum Nancy” with cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 12-1/8″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to gilding on lip. 5-64429 (3,000-4,000)
