PAIR OF MOSER AMBERINA DECORATED EWERS. Spectacular Moser ewers are blown in amberina glass shading from rich red at the top to amber at the bottom. Each ewer has an applied gilded glass handle and a central applied three dimensional jungle bird surrounded by brightly enameled oak leaves, stems and branches. Each ewer is further decorated with numerous applied acorns. Ewers are finished with a gilded band at the foot and lip. One is unsigned, the other is signed on the underside “2789 Moser D180”. SIZE: 18-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Midwest Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to gilding on handle and lip. 5-64264 (7,000-10,000)
