MOSER APPLIED & DECORATED PILLOW VASE. Beautiful Moser pillow vase in light amber glass has four applied reeded and gilded feet. Vase is decorated with a central applied three dimensional bird resting on an oak branch surrounded by brightly enameled oak leaves and gilded stems. Oak leaf decoration encircles the entire vase and is enhanced by numerous applied acorns. Backside of the vase is further decorated by a single winged insect among the oak leaves. Signed on the underside in gold “2421/a D.180 Moser”. SIZE: 8-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Midwest Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with only minor wear to gilding on feet and lip. 5-64262 (1,500-2,500)
