TWO CONTINENTAL SILVER FANCY PLATES. 1) 10-3/4″ dia. reticulated fancy plate having a central round decoration of three repousse cupids holding a leaf garland around an oval monogram area (blank). Surrounding this round area are oval cartouches with swags & bow ties and having scroll leaf border. Marked “800” with a maker’s mark “SR” with crown. 2) 11-1/2″ dia. shaped plate with plain circular center, the border reticulated with three baskets of flowers, swags, and ribbon. The outside rim having three large ram’s heads. Marked “800” with maker’s mark “W.S.H.”. TOTAL WEIGHT: 31.3 tr. oz. CONDITION: Very good. 5-64389 (400-600)
