HANDEL 6688 TABLE LAMP. Very nice Handel 6688 shade is decorated with reverse painted floral pattern in lovely pastel colors of pinks, violet, white and yellow. Shade is further decorated with three yellow butterflies hovering about the flowers. Exterior of the shade is finished with a chipped ice design. Shade rests on an Art Nouveau style base with three socket cluster and rich brown patina. Shade is signed on the interior rim “Handel 6688” with artist initial “R”. Base is signed on the underside of foot with applied cloth tag “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 25″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor blistering to finish on base. Base has been rewired with original type cloth cord. 5-64226 (5,000-7,000)
