MONUMENTAL DAUM NANCY FRENCH CAMEO VASE. Cameo cut back vase in monumental cylinder form is gently rolled at upper rim. The lake scene is depicted as if looking through the trees. The trees in the foreground which cover the entire vase are in deep earthen hues with deep cuts. Background reflection of shoreline is cutback in a russet hue; all on a golden-yellow ground. Signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy” with cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 24″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-64426 (2,000-3,000)
