THREE MINIATURE PORTRAITS.

THREE MINIATURE PORTRAITS. 1) Very nicely detailed portrait of Napoleon’s wife, Josephine, wearing a jeweled crown and sapphire and pearl necklace. Portrait done on ivory and is housed in an intricately detailed brass frame. Portrait is artist signed, but we are unable to discern the name. 2) Portrait of a lady wearing period attire with wide lace collar and colorful hat. Portrait is painted on ivory and is artist signed “Russel.” Housed in a brass frame matching #1. 3) Miniature portrait of a military man on porcelain. The gentleman is in dress uniform with embroidered collar epaulets and a blue sash housed in a simple brass frame. SIZE: 1) & 2) are 3-1/2″ x 2-3/4″ and 3) 1-5/8″ x 2″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with the exception of some scratches to the portrait on porcelain. 5-65211 (300-500)
