TIFFANY STUDIOS COLONIAL TABLE LAMP. Handsome large geometric panels are constructed in dichroic glass which appears yellow and green when unlit and fiery orange and green when lit. Shade is supported by a standard library base that is now commonly referred to as the colonial style. Base is complete with three sockets and pierced top cap. The entire lamp carries a highly desirable green-brown patina finish. This particular example is very nice, as most of these shades have not held up over the years because of the larger geometric sized panels. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1900”. Base is marked “Tiffany Studios New York 533” as well as a “13”. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Lamp is 21″ t. CONDITION: Lamp is very good to excellent with few tight hairlines in the shade. 5-64399 (13,000-16,000)
