IMPORTANT RUSSIAN 27″ TWO-PART STERLING SILVER MENORAH BY MOJZSEZ PRINZENTHAL (Mojse Princenthal, 1908-1915). The eight-branch angular arm menorah having rectangular candle cups set in a row with a tapered stepped shaft having a crest formed finial with two rampant lions and crown atop a ball. The candlestick base in square form with four corner feet, all decorated with flowers and rayed lines. The piece marked with Kokoshnik mark having the Greek letter “jota” left of the head for Warzaw. Marks: M.P., with trademark: Horse, facing left. The candelabra complete with its detachable single candle cup and small handled footed pitcher. WEIGHT: 53 tr. oz. SIZE: 14-1/2″ wide.
