WOOD & BAGLEY MONUMENTAL POTPOURRI. Beautiful porcelain potpourri jar has green background with rich blue and rust decoration of a pagoda and flowering plants. Two applied handles are crisscrossing twigs with gold trim. The decoration repeats itself on front and back. Potpourri is complete with a flat matching lid as well as a domed pierced lid with artichoke finial. Potpourri is unmarked but was identified to us by the consignor as being Wood & Bagley London, circa 1823. SIZE: 24″ t top of finial. PROVENANCE: From a private Midwest Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some light crazing. 5-64270 (1,500-2,500)
