ROYAL DUX FIGURAL BOWL. Lovely Royal Dux bowl features maiden resting on the side of the bowl with spray of flowers extending from her hand to the edge of the bowl. CONDITION: Crack running approx. 3″ from the bottom upwards, on the backside. The crack is obviously a product of firing and not later damage. LATE 19TH EARLY 20TH CENTURY OVERLAY INKSTAND IN SILVER STAND. Blue cut to opal cut to clear inkstand with a 3-part silver stand. The inkpot has quatrefoil and trefoil cut with a silver lid and there is also a quatrefoil cut dish (for sand) with a turned over scalloped edge. The third section is a piece of animal bone, lightly carved with the Star of David and 2 sheaves of wheat. SIZE: 5 1/2″ tall by 9″ wide. CONDITION: There is a break in the silver stand where the arm extends out to the section of animal bone, it has not gone all the way through; otherwise the inkstand is in very good condition. 5-67125 (300-500)

PAIR OF LATE 19TH EARLY 20TH CENTURY OVERLAY CANDLESTICKS. Blue cut to opal cut to clear candlesticks having large and small punty cuts in a flattened dome foot. There is a six panel cut hollow stem and a deep six punty cut socket with a turned down 10 scallop cut rim. SIZE: 9 3/8″ tall. CONDITION: There is worn to the gilt decoration that was there to accentuate the cutting and the opal is heavily tinted blue. There is a teeny fish scale flake out of one on the punty cuts in the stem; otherwise they are in very good to excellent condition. 5-67124 (600-800)

SET OF FOUR CUT GLASS CANDLE LAMPS. The candlesticks are 13 1/4″ tall with a hollow blown lapidary and fluted stem. Hobstar cut base. Candle holders and sterling silver repose shades accompany stems. MEDICINE LAMP. Nickel-plated brass lamp with white milk glass shade. Removable kerosene font. The base of the lamp is signed “THE STANDARD NOVELTY COMPANY PAT APR 5 1886 NEW YORK”. The lamp base contains a key wound clock mechanism manufactured by “THE ANSONIA CLOCK COMPANY”. The clock mechanism caused the shade to move indicating the current time. The purpose of the lamp is as an aid to tell the person when his next medicine dose was due. The arrow attached to the top of the shade indicated that time. SIZE: 6 1/2″ tall by 5 1/2″ wide. Yellow cased melon ribbed shade mounted on a yellow cased cone base. CONDITION: The white milk glass shade has significant roughness on top and bottom of shade, otherwise good. The cranberry shade has 1/4″ flake in the top edge. The base is very good to excellent. The yellow cased shade has approx. 1″ crack extending on diagonal from top edge of shade downward. FAIRY LAMP. Three face fairy lamp with brown eyes on the brown dog, yellow eyes on gray owl and green eyes on the gray cat. The three feet are decorated in two shades of blue. Fairy size. THREE FACE FAIRY LAMP. The brown dog has brown eyes, the gray and white owl has off-white eyes and the dark gray and white cat has green eyes. The three feet are decorated in pink with intervening spaces painted blue. There are no signatures on the base. The numeral “11” is incised into one foot. WHALE OIL LAMP. Amethyst lamp in a wider than usual elongated loop pattern with a hexagonal stem mounted on a marble foot. No. 1 collar with a twin tube whale oil burner. The construction of the lamp is unusual in that the amethyst glass at the bottom of the stem extends all the way through the marble foot, cementing the stem and lamp font to the marble. LOT OF FOUR MINI LAMPS. The lot includes a pair of ball shaped footed lamps without burners or chimneys. Additionally there is a ball shaped finger lamp with applied handle. It has no burner or chimney, nor is it marked in any fashion. The fourth piece is what is generally referred to as a wine glass miniature whale oil lamp. Its drop-in burner is absent. MAGNIFICENT LARGE PAIR OF EARLY FRENCH MAJOLICA MODERATOR LAMPS. These wonderful early lamps in this condition are a considerable rarity. The outstanding Majolica bases with blue shaded background upon which are painted various lovely flowers. The sides with molded handles near the neck. The base is fitted with heavy brass gold dore finish feet. The frosted ball shades with cut floral design. The lamps are signed “GAGNEAU” on the brass burners which are working and have never been electrified. SIZE: Approx. 22″ tall, the frosted ball shades are 7″. ASTRAL LAMP. Brass font with an E. .06 Jones No. 2 burner mounted on a Bennington Flint Enamel Lamp base. 5″ prism ring on font with ten cut glass prisms. SIZE: The two step pottery foot is 5″ square. The standard is 5″ tall. The overall height to top of shade is 21″, to the top of the collar is 14 3/4″ tall. CONDITION: There is a 3/4″ by 1/4″ flaw in the bottom foot glaze. In addition, the glaze has been rubbed on three of the four corners of the bottom foot. The lamp was once electrified and the brass font was drilled. The hole remains. The lamp, prisms, chimney and shade are very good to excellent condition. 5-66973 (4,000-6,000)

VERY FANCY DOUBLE STUDENT LAMP. Heavy brass student lamp with electrified Duplex burners and a matching pair of 10″ lithophane shades. Each shade contains four panels. Two of the panels show a hunter speaking to a maiden over a fence. A third panel shows the hunter speaking to the maiden on a footbridge, over a stream. The fourth panel shows the maiden and the hunter, continuing over the footbridge on their respective journeys. One burner is signed “DARDONVILLE NEW YORK” and the other burner is signed “B & H DUPLEX”. We believe the Dardonville burner is original. SIZE: Lamp is 25″ tall and 25″ wide, when measured at the shade rings. CONDITION: The lamp, except for the electrification, which was professionally done, is very good to excellent. DOLPHIN BASE CUT OVERLAY LAMP. TH-II-7e. This lovely cut overlaid lamp features a white cut to pear to light pink font all mounted on a clambroth or alabaster molded base with triple dolphin figures. Dolphin base lamps are some of the rarest and most desirable of cut overlay lamps. This is a most unusual version and a typical to some that we have had. The dolphins are on a four-stepped base with different molded designs to each step. An attractive lamp. Has No. 2 collar. SIZE: Approx. 12 1/2″ tall. CONDITION: There are a couple of small chips on the bottom edge of the foot, the very largest of which might be around 1/4″. STAND LAMP. Marriage or Wedding lamp with blue fonts connected by a white clambroth match holder mounted on a white milk glass stem and foot. Zero burners with transfer decorated big bulge chimneys with Zero fitters. SIZE: Overall height is 20 1/2″. Overall width is 9 1/2″. CONDITION: The match holder lid is missing. PAIR OF TABLE LAMPS. Foreign made cranberry three-piece table lamps. In kerosene with Duplex burners. The base and shade are additionally decorated with gold flower, bird and leaf decor.
