PAIRPOINT POMPEY REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP. Rare scenic reverse painted Pompey shade shows two Dutch gentlemen sitting on a dock with windmills in the background. Reverse side shows two Dutch ladies walking on a beach with sailing ship and town in background. Top of shade is decorated with mauve flowers in a clover shape cartouche. Gold trim decorates the obverse. Shade rests on a signed “PAIRPOINT” four-footed base with floral design. SIZE: Shade is 10″ square. Overall height is 20″. CONDITION: There is slight crackling of paint on gentlemen’s jackets in the shade, otherwise very good to excellent. There is some wear to the finish of the base, otherwise very good. 5-67862 (7,500-9,500)
