VERY FANCY DOUBLE STUDENT LAMP. Heavy brass student lamp with electrified Duplex burners and a matching pair of 10″ lithophane shades. Each shade contains four panels. Two of the panels show a hunter speaking to a maiden over a fence. A third panel shows the hunter speaking to the maiden on a footbridge, over a stream. The fourth panel shows the maiden and the hunter, continuing over the footbridge on their respective journeys. One burner is signed “DARDONVILLE NEW YORK” and the other burner is signed “B & H DUPLEX”. We believe the Dardonville burner is original. SIZE: Lamp is 25″ tall and 25″ wide, when measured at the shade rings. CONDITION: The lamp, except for the electrification, which was professionally done, is very good to excellent. It is well polished and clean. The shades are absolutely excellent. 5-67271 (5,000-7,000)
