EXQUISITE FRENCH CAMEO VASE WITH ROOKS. This most unusual antique cameo glass vase features a carnivorous forest background with large Rooks in the foreground. One side depicts three and the reverse depicts two. This most unusually beautiful vase with lovely coloration shading from dark blue to light blue to a translucent to clear pinkish background. The base with ground pontil is unsigned or at least we could not find a signature, but is a masterful creation. The large birds and the forest combination are very appealing format and very masterfully executed. The vase is unsigned but certainly French. SIZE: Approx. 11″ tall by 4″ diameter at opening.
