*FACTORY ENGRAVED COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER 3RD GENERATION.
SN SA65493. Cal. .45LC. 5-1/2″ bbl. Full nickel finish with smooth rosewood 2-pc grips with Colt medallions inset. Revolver is engraved with type “C” coverage in a vine motif with a fine punch dot background. Bbl is engraved on both sides of front sight and on both sides of bbl address. Ejector rod housing is engraved 3/4 of length. Frame shows engraving on the forward part in front of cylinder, along top strap, and on the recoil shield and loading gate. This engraving flows down either side of frame around the screws. Backstrap apron shows scallop design with scroll accent at the heel. Buttplate is engraved at the heel. Bottom and forward part of trigger guard is also engraved. SN is stamped on front of frame. Grips were not removed. Cylinder shows engraving between each flute. Bbl shows one line Colt address on top with model and caliber designation on left side. Frame has two line patent mark on left side with rampant Colt logo to the rear. *COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER SECOND GENERATION WITH TWO PIECE CARVED IVORY GRIPS.
SN 32729SA. Cal. .357 MAG. 4-3/4″ bbl, full nickel finish with 2-pc ivory grips, right grip has American Eagle carved in high relief. Bbl shows correct 1-line Colt address on top, with model and cal mark on left side. SN matches on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Cyl has last 3 digits of SN stamped on front face, “W” proof is stamped on front face and Rampant Colt logo on rear face. Loading gate has assembly number 628 on rear surface. Assembly number also appears on right rear flat of frame. Left side of frame shows 2-line Colt patent mark with Rampant Colt logo to the rear. Backstrap and trigger guard show nearly all of the nickel finish with some loss at the front of the trigger guard bow, and some frostiness on the grips straps. Hammer retains 90% nickel with some staining on the sides and rear. Trigger retains 50% nickel. With some roughness at top. All markings are sharp and clear. Cyl retains 90%+ of the nickel finish with a few dull spots and a slight drag mark, chambers are clean. Grips are very good with no losses. Grips are slightly undersized. *ENGRAVED GOLD INLAID COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER WITH 2 PIECE FAUX-IVORY GRIPS.
SN 11016SA. Cal. 45. 5-1/2″ bbl. Full blue finish. Scroll engraved with gold inlays. This revolver was engraved by J.R. French of Irving, Texas, whose name appears on butt-strap. Revolver is scroll engraved overall. Bbl has gold bands at muzzle and breech. Gold floral inlay on ejector rod housing. Frame engraving is also bordered by gold. Cyl has 2 gold bands around the rear periphery. Recoil shield has eagle head inlaid on left side. Colt logo on right side of frame is gold inlaid also. Backstrap has a 5-point Texas star inlaid into the apron, with gold borders intertwining down the backstrap. Trigger guard has small gold inlay on toe end. Engraving is very nicely accomplished, with intertwining scroll work, checkerboard work, and a fine punch-dot background. 2-pc faux-ivory grips have gold Colt medallions and some scroll engraving on right grip. SNs match on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Cyl is un-numbered. Grips are marked “AJAX #1”. Revolver is housed in a red velvet lined mahogany box. CONDITION: Fine, as totally refinished. Revolver retains nearly all of its full-blue finish. All markings are sharp. There are a few minuscules at dents at heel of butt strap. Box is in very good condition. Revolver is engraved in a vine motif with coverage on both sides of front sight, both sides of bbl address, and at the rear of ejector housing. Frame shows a star motif and scroll at the forward end with scallop decoration on the recoil shield and loading gate. Frame is sparsely engraved at the rear around the screws. Backstrap apron shows Colt 150th Anniversary Rampant Colt logo in a circle. Backstrap is engraved “Colt Engraving Sampler”. Butt shows vine accent. Cylinder is engraved between the flutes in a scroll and scallop motif with a line and dot border around the rear periphery. Grips have silver medallions inlaid. SN 195848. Cal. 44 Colt. 8″ bbl. Full nickel finish with 1-pc ivory grip. Bbl shows correct 1-line Colt address. SN matches on bbl, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, arbor, loading gate and cyl.Wedge is unnumbered. Grip was not removed. Frame shows 2-line patent mark on left side. Rear flat of trigger guard on left is stamped 44CAL. Cyl is marked Colt’s patent and shows correct Naval engagement scene. Holster is of the Slim Jim style with border decoration and deep recurve A+ throat. Bore is frosty with clear rifling. Frame retains 80-90% nickel finish with some flaking on the recoil shield. Backstrap shows traces of nickel with the balance being a smooth gray brown patina. Trigger guard also shows traces of nickel with the balance a mustard yellow patina. SNs are clear. Backstrap SN is slightly washed out. Cyl retains 80% nickel with a very good cyl scene and a slight drag mark. Hammer shows traces of case color at the base. Trigger shows a hint of blue. Ivory grips are very good with no missing pieces. Holster is very good with some crazing to the finish. Toe plug is intact. Stitching is intact. A very nice rig. SN 3356. Cal. 38RF. 3-1/2″ rnd bbl. Full nickel finish. 1-pc walnut grip. Top of bbl shows 2-line Colt address. SN matches on bbl, frame, trigger guard, backstrap and cyl. Bbl and grips were not removed. Frame shows 2-line patent mark on forward left side with 36CAL stamped on left rear flat of trigger guard. Rebated cyl shows stagecoach scene with Colt’s patent mark above SN. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 80% nickel finish with mars and scratches overall and some flaking. Bbl lug is battered at wedge. Bbl address is sharp. Front sight is full sized. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Frame retains 70-80% nickel finish with flaking on the recoil shield. Patent mark is sharp. Backstrap and trigger guard show traces of nickel finish in protected areas with the balance blending to a mustard yellow patina. Hammer is a gray brown patina as is the trigger. Cal. mark is sharp on trigger guard. Grips retain nearly all of the varnish finish with wear on the high points on both sides. SN 63568. Cal. 22RF. 2-3/8″ bbl, full nickel finish, 2-pc ivory grips. Revolver is engraved on either side of the frame in a scroll motif with punch dot background. Cylinder is engraved in an intertwining line motif with star accents and walking punch border. Bbl is engraved on either side of the address with a dot and line motif and a splay toward the muzzle. Bbl shows “COLT” 2-line address on top. Left forward side of frame is marked “22CAL”. SN is stamped on bottom of grip, rear face of cylinder and on bottom of bbl lug. SN 15740. Cal. 38 Colt. 3-1/2″ bbl. Full nickel finish. 2-pc Mother of Pearl grips. Bbl has 2-line Colt Hartford/London address. Bbl shows English proof marks at the breech. “P” over “3” is stamped on bottom of bbl under cyl. base pin. Left side of bbl has “Colt D.A.38” in an etched panel. SN matches on frame, trigger guard and backstrap. No.802 is stamped on rear face of cyl. Cyl. also shows British proof marks at the rear of each flute. Cyl. was possibly mismatched at the time of sale. 3-line Colt patent mark is stamped on the forward left side of the frame. 38CAL is stamped on the left rear trigger guard bow. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl retains 90% of the orig. nickel finish. Markings are sharp. Front sight is full sized. Etched panel is fine. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Frame, trigger guard and backstrap retain 95% of the orig. nickel finish that has somewhat dulled. All frame markings are sharp. Cyl. retains 90% nickel finish with some flaking on the edges of the flutes. Hammer shows almost all of the fire blue on the top and back. Trigger shows a generous amount of fire blue with most loss on the front face. Pearl grips are fine with brilliant rainbow hues and a slight chip missing from the upper left grip at the backstrap. Frame screws also retain a considerable amount of the fire blue finish. Cyl. base pin shows considerable blue finish. Action functions perfectly. SN 89259. Cal 38 Colt. Nickel finish with scarce 3″ bbl without ejector housing, half moon front sight and 2-line address with model & caliber marking on left side. Left side of frame has 3-line patent dates and Rampant Colt in a broken circle. Mounted with 2-pc Rampant Colt hard rubber grips, left grip is hand scratched in the inside “THE “GEM” / SALOON / EL PASO, TEXAS” with the date 1895 in the toe recess. Accompanied by a brown leather mail order Safari brand pocket holster. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching except grips which are un-numbered. Overall retains about 70% orig nickel. 1) COLT #3 DERRINGER. SN 40051. Cal. 41RF. 2-1/2″ bbl. Blue and nickel finish. 2-pc plain walnut grips. Bbl shows “COLT” on top. Front sight is German silver. Frame has 41CAL stamped on the left side. Stamping is upside down which is a common occurrence. SN is stamped on grip frame on left side under grip. SN is also written in pencil on the inside of each grip. Revolver is cased in a mahogany box with a velveteen lining. There is a cartridge block that holds 9 cartridges. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbl retains 30% blue finish that has drifted to a gray brown patina with very little roughness. Colt mark is sharp and clear. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Front sight is full sized. Receiver retains 90% nickel overall with some flaking at the breech and a few dents and scratches. Hammer and trigger show a generous amount of fire blue. Grips are very good and retain nearly all the varnish finish with no missing pieces and only some small dents and scratches. Box is very good. Has been cleaned. Lining is intact. Block has 9 old cartridges. 2) REMINGTON DOUBLE DERRINGER. SN 572. Cal. 41RF. 3″ bbls. Full nickel finish with 2-pc checkered hard rubber grips. Type II Model #3. Top of bbl shows “Remington Arms Co. Ilion NY”. SN is stamped on grip frame on left side under grips. CONDITION: Very good. Derringer retains 60% nickel finish with some heavy erosion overall. Erosion is dark and has not been cleaned. Bbl hinge is intact. Bbl address is clear. Bores are frosty with visible rifling. Hammer and trigger are plum blue patina. Grips are good with sharp checkering. Right grip is eroded along rear edge. SN D95925. Cal. .22 LR. 4″ bbl with ventilated rib, target sights, full blue finish, with 2-pc checkered walnut grips showing nickel Colt medallions. Engraving is nearly full coverage in a vine scroll motif with a stippled background. Bottom of frame, trigger guard, and straps show no engraving. Engraving is nicely accomplished. Left side of bbl shows model and cal mark, right side of bbl shows Colt address. SN is stamped on the frame in the crane mortise and on the crane opposite the mortise. Revolver has target sights, front sight has red insert, rear sight has been polished white. CONDITION: Very good as totally re-finished. Revolver retains nearly all the blue finish. Sight, hammer, and trigger have been polished to a bright finish. Markings are sharp. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Cyls are clean. There is what appears to be an Engravers signature on the left side of the grip frame under grip. Grips are very good, with sharp checkering and only light handling marks overall. SN KT1244. Cal 357 MAG. Beautiful high polish nickel revolver with 4″ vent rib bbl, red ramp & white outline adjustable rear sight. Bbl has standard markings and the Rampant Colt trademark on the side plate. Mounted with Pachmayr “GRIPPER” finger groove rubber grips that have gold Colt medallions. Accompanied by a Colt hinged lid blue plastic box with owners manual and papers. End label is missing. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Accompanied by its orig, matching numbered 1-pc wood grain, Styrofoam lined box with owners manual, hang tag and papers. The E-series Pythons are purported to be the finest Python’s ever built by Colt. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Appears to be new & unfired retaining virtually all of its orig factory nickel with some slight dulling from handling and a few light scratches on right side of frame.
