Galle monumental stick vase has bulbous squat body with tall cylindrical neck. Galle lamp base has amber cameo glass flowers, stems and leaves descending from the top of the base down the cone shaped body against a shaded light blue background. The base has a bronze collar and three arm spider and is finished with a contemporary fabric shade. Base is signed on the side in cameo “Galle”. SIZE: 11-1/3″ to top of shade. Burgun & Schverer presentation tumbler has cameo and enameled decoration with a central panel decorated with a cameo and enameled ribbon and medal within an enameled green wreath, dated below the medal “22 Septembre 1907”. The wreath is flanked on each side by gilded cameo pillars with enameled flowers on top. A second panel has cameo entwined initials “EJ” with cameo flowers, stems, and leaves on both sides with gilded detail. The third panel has a sentence in Italian which roughly translates to “I am human and nothing human is alien to me.” All surrounded by cameo flowers, stems, and leaves with gilded detail. The underside of the tumbler is inscribed “A. Monsieur Eug. Jaquel La Speranza Reconnaissart” also marked on the bottom “Meisenthal Septembre 1907 B. The flowers are overlaid in clear glass and wheel carved. The vase is further decorated with random bands of martele. Burgun and Schverer vase has pink, yellow and white cameo flowers with green cameo leaves. The cameo decoration is overlaid with clear glass and wheel carved for detail, all set against a frosted background with internal swirls of red glass. The vase is further decorated with random areas of martele as well as cameo icicles descending from the lip. Burgun & Schverer vase has heavy brown cameo glass decoration of flowers, stems, and leaves surrounding three quarters of the vase. The cameo flowers feature wheel carved details and the rich brown decoration is set against a cream and green glass background. The vase is finished with a brown glass foot and lip. The vase is further decorated with random patches of martele. Signed on the underside with an elaborate thistle and Cross of Lorraine signature “Verrerie D’Art De Lorraine B&S Depose”. Extraordinary pate de verre vase by G. Argy Rousseau in the Garden of Hesperides (sometimes referred to as Apple Picker) pattern is beautifully decorated with a repeated Greek mythology scene of an evening nymph guarding the apple trees of Hera’s garden following her marriage to Zeus. Each of the three maidens is done in bright fuchsia, under the red apples of the trees with dark violet branches and trunks, all over a stylized greek-key bottom border in mottled red and violet. Vase retains “The Elton John Collection” sticker on the bottom. Signed “G Argy-Rousseau” on side of vase and “France” on the underside. Similar examples are illustrated on the front cover and pgs.72-73 of the book G. Argy-Rousseau, Glassware as Art by J. Bloch-Dermant. SIZE: 9-1/2″ t. Argy Rousseau powder box in the Honesty pattern has yellow, brown and white stylized leaves adorning the top and side of the box against a beige background. Box is signed on the side “G. G. Argy Rousseau ashtray is done in the medallion pattern with a center medallion featuring the head of a young Roman man. The ashtray is done in mottled red and clear glass with brown highlights. A. Walter pate de verre bowl is decorated with a mottled brown, yellow, and blue crab against a mottled yellow, brown, orange, and green background. Almeric Walter nightlight has cone shaped pate de verre shade with red and pink flowers with three petals and subtle green stems swirling up the side of the yellow shade. Shade rests on an iron ring with hammered ball feet and is finished with a stylized flower cap with hammered ball center. Signed on the side “A. Walter Nancy”. SIZE: 8-1/2″ t. LOT OF FOUR DESPERET PATE DE VERRE MASKS.
Lot consists of an amber pate de verre mask of Lucifer, a dark green pate de verre mask of Pan, a tan pate de verre mask of a man, and a blue pate de verre mask of a baby. Mask of Pan is signed on the edge with what appears to be “F. Hermes”. Others are unsigned. SIZE: Lucifer 8-1/2″ l. Pan 9″ l. Man 5-1/8″ l. Baby 4-3/8″ l.
