BURGUN & SCHVERER PRESENTATION TUMBLER.

Burgun & Schverer presentation tumbler has cameo and enameled decoration with a central panel decorated with a cameo and enameled ribbon and medal within an enameled green wreath, dated below the medal “22 Septembre 1907”. The wreath is flanked on each side by gilded cameo pillars with enameled flowers on top. A second panel has cameo entwined initials “EJ” with cameo flowers, stems, and leaves on both sides with gilded detail. The third panel has a sentence in Italian which roughly translates to “I am human and nothing human is alien to me.” All surrounded by cameo flowers, stems, and leaves with gilded detail. The underside of the tumbler is inscribed “A. Monsieur Eug. Jaquel La Speranza Reconnaissart” also marked on the bottom “Meisenthal Septembre 1907 B.
