LOBMEYR ENAMELED 52PC STEMWARE & BOWLS. Glass stemware and bowls are exquisitely enameled with men and women from the Provincial Period with highly ornate scroll work to main sections and pedestal feet. Twenty-six of these pieces have an elegant monogram to reverse side with an “L S & T”. Is extremely rare to find a set of this enormous size. Signed with Lobmeyr mark to bottom of each piece. SIZE: Stemware size varies from 5-1/4″ to 7″ t. Bowls are 3″ t x 5-1/4″ dia. PROVENANCE: From the Private Collection of Dorothy Lee Jones. Additional Information: As already noted, there are a few instances of minute roughness (which consists of flecks or chips. There are three damages that exceed the definition of “minute”: 2 cups are missing part of one tusk and the interior rim of the punchbowl has a larger surface flake.

RARE MOSER PUNCHBOWL SET. Rare covered punchbowl with ladle and fourteen cups are each decorated with a medallion featuring a butterfly design with another medallion having a water scene and is further decorated with bluebirds and dragonflies. All of this decoration is enameled on a amber ground with each piece, except the ladle, having applied glass elephant heads and four applied glass feet. All of this applied glass is in blue with gold highlights. Unsigned to our knowledge. SIZE: Punchbowl is 13″ t. Cups are 4-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: A gift to the Maine State Museum being sold to benefit the museum’s acquisition fund. CONDITION: Minute roughness, but overall exceptional. 5-61608 (800-1,200)

WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE BOX. Exceptional Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre box is done in the Nizami pattern with the lid being decorated with a large round medallion featuring a group of Persian individuals in a garden with trees, vines and birds in a nest. All against a midnight lustre background. Side of the box is adorned with a band of gold gilt geometric figures. Interior of the box is finished in light blue pearlescence with a center medallion of a Persian figure holding an ax and standing among the foliage. Marked on the underside with gold Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England” and numbered. SIZE: 5″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-61896 (5,000-6,000)

THREE STEUBEN APPLIED FRUIT ITEMS. Two covered jars with applied fruit finials; one in Celeste blue and the other in amber. Both are unsigned. And a large amber centerpiece bowl with four applied fruit handles and red trimming. Signed on the underside with acid etched block letters “Steuben”. SIZE: Covered jars are 5-1/4″ dia each. DAUM CAMEO & ENAMEL VASE. Especially nice Daum vase has white cameo flowers, stems and leaves with enameled green and yellow stamens in each flower. The cameo decoration is set against a mottled light blue shading to frosted background. The vase is finished with a flaring lip having a v-notch in front and back. Signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 8-1/2″ t. CONDITION: A small stress line extending approx. 1/2″ from the bottom of the v-notch of the vase, most likely from the making. 5-60310 (800-1,200)

GALLE ENAMEL & METAL BASKET. Exceptional Galle basket is done in dark amber glass with rich enameled decoration adorning the flat lip of the basket. Sides of the lip are rolled inward and finished with an applied ribbed handle on each side. Basket is further finished with a metal handle of cherry branches, leaves and cherries with red, green and brown patination giving the handle a rich, natural appearance. GALLE ENAMELED CRUET. Exceptional early Galle cruet is done in deep amber glass with colorful enamel floral decoration surrounding the shoulder and body. The cruet is further decorated with applied rigaree at the bottom of the cruet, three applied ribbed loops around the shoulder; each holding a bronze coin with Arabic design. Cruet is finished with an applied ribbed handle and faceted stopper. Signed on the underside with etched signature “E. Galle”. SIZE: 8-1/4″ t. MONUMENTAL LE VERRE FRANCAIS CHARDER POISSONS VASE. Spectacular monumental Le Verre Francais vase in the Poissons pattern depicts a school of orange cameo fish swimming amongst underwater vegetation against a mottled light blue shading to cream background. Vase rests on three applied black scrolled glass feet. Signed on the side in cameo “Charder”. Similar example is pictured on the cover of the book Charles Schneider: Le Verre Francais-Charder by Marie-Christine Joulin and Gerald Maier. Vase is also pictured and described inside the book on pg. 175. A rare and outstanding example. SIZE: 13″ t x 8-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Bottom of vase has been drilled to accommodate a single socket for use as a luminaire (no hardware present). We have seen examples of French cameo glass where vases like this were converted to luminaires at the factory. 5-62000 (2,000-3,000)

DUFFNER & KIMBERLY TABLE LAMP BASE. Wonderful Duffner & Kimberly two socket lamp base has an elongated vertically ribbed shaft and is decorated at top with an Art Nouveau design and ends in four feet which supports an acanthus leaf platform bottom. An example of this base is pictured in the book Mosaic Shades Vol. II by Paul Crist on page 188. The base carries a desirable patina brown finish and pierced top cap. Unsigned. SIZE: Lamp is 23″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with minor scratches to finish, socket replaced and finial missing. 5-61465 (1,000-1,500)

AUSTRIAN BRONZE LAMP. Austrian cold painted bronze lamp depicts a full figure American Indian in full headdress and robe with rifle standing in front of teepee with a large three dimensional tree having bronze leaves as a covering for the man and his home. Additional Information: There is a teeny heat check in the lower end tip of the handle where it was attached to the body of the vase. Teeny heat checks are not uncommon at the connecting points because of the temperature differences at the time the vase was made.

WEBB ENGLISH CAMEO VASE. Bulbous form vase has a slightly elongated neck and is decorated on either side with a large flora and fauna pattern. THREE AUSTRIAN ART GLASS VASES. Interesting lot of vases includes; 1)A green lightly iridescent vase with applied vertical and horizontal threading which shows nice blue and platinum flashes. 2) A shouldered body vase with long wide neck leading to flaring and ruffled lip. Vase has a diagonal texture and interesting mottled coloration with iridescent finish showing rich green and pink highlights. 3) Features a pinched body with flaring lip with the edge rolled inward. Vase is green iridescent with a white stylized lily pad design descending from the top. SIZE: Tallest is 9-1/2″. CONDITION: All are very good to excellent. 5-62057, 5-62058 (500-700)

Additional Information: At least one collector feels the decoration at the top of the vase (which we describe as millefiori style) is actually a continuation of the leaf and vine decoration. This is neither positive nor negative and there is nothing wrong with the vase.

Extremely nice Tiffany vase has green iridescent body with gold iridescent leaf and vine decoration surrounding the entire body and millefiori flowers adorning the shoulder and neck.
