HEAVY CUSTOM-MADE GOLD SPORTSMAN’S RING. This heavy ring weighs approximately 12.7 pennyweight and features a beautiful lost-wax carving of a setter retrieving a ruffed grouse. The consignor of the previous shotgun with all its custom engraving commissioned this ring about 20 years ago from artisan Brenda Fallon Chase, whose initials appear inside the ring. The gold content has not been determined, but the ring is stamped “KK”. CONDITION: Very fine. The band is slightly distorted from wearing and there is some loss of the applied black “patination” in the fine details. Bottom of band is solid and undecorated and can easily be resized. 4-50205 (500-1,000)
