*LOT OF TWO COLT POLICE POSITIVE DA REVOLVERS. Cal. 38 Spcl. 1) SN 400318, blued finish, 4” bbl, checkered medallion walnut grips. Accompanied by its original dark maroon hinged lid box, which contains a hang tag and instruction papers. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains most of its original bright factory finish with very minor muzzle and edge wear, sharp grips, bright shiny bore with scattered pitting. The box bottom is fine, the lid is detached and missing part of the maroon paper. 2) SN 404225, blued finish, 4” bbl, checkered medallion walnut grips. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains 98-99% strong bright original blue with one tiny spot of muzzle edge wear and other miniscule sharp edge wear. Accompanied by a Colt dark maroon hinge-lid box numbered to another pistol that contains instruction sheet and a advertisement. SN 474583. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 95-97% strong bright original blue with light muzzle and slight edge wear. The slide has scattered spots of surface discoloration toward the muzzle end and the grip safety pinpoints of rust. Grips are extremely fine with modest wear on the right side. Bright shiny bore. *COLT MODEL 1908 POCKET PISTOL. Cal. 380 ACP. Blued finish with 4” bbl, 2-tone original magazine with full checkered silver medallion wood grips. Accompanied by its original hinged lid dark maroon box. SN 97123. CONDITION: Very good, slide retains about 70% strong original blue having a cleaned area on the left side with some fine pitting. The frame retains about 90% strong bright original blue with a cleaned area on the left side of the frame and the front strap a light patina. The magazine is extremely fine. Grips show moderate to heavy wear and bbl has plier marks at the bushing end. Bright shiny bore with a couple of spots of fine pitting. *BROWNING A5 SEMI AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Upgraded field grade shotgun with 27-1/2” vent rib modified choke bbl. It has straight grain walnut stock and forearm with long tang and round knob. The right side of the buttstock is deep relief carved with a leaping whitetail buck with a forest and mountain scene in the background. The receiver and 4” of bbl are nicely engraved with foliate arabesque patterns with punch dot background. The left side of the receiver has a game scene of a setter and two rising pheasants inlaid in silver with a field and mountain scene in the background. The right side has a vignette of two rising ducks over a marsh scene. The bolt and carrier have been jeweled. SN 9M45390. CONDITION: Excellent. It has very nicely grained custom wood with extensive checkering in fleur de lis patterns with an Old English “J” carved on the bottom of the forearm. The receiver, bbl ring and chamber area are aftermarket engraved with coarse foliate arabesque patterns, game scenes of a silver pointer and two quail on the left side, a silver setter and two pheasant on the right side and silver inlay over the chamber area and at the back end of the rib. EDWIN HUNT DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION SHOTGUN. Cal. about 12 ga. Early English made shotgun sold by Edwin Hunt of New York, with 32-1/2” Damascus bbls with “London Fine Twist” on the top rib, “London” with scroll decorations being inlaid in gold. The chamber area of bbls have silver inlays of a hunter, dog, bird and tree on the left side and two dogs, a tree and two ducks on the right side. The breech end of bbl has silver and gold wire bands. The breech plate, top tang, trigger guard and buttplate tang are all engraved in arabesque patterns. Lockplates have a pheasant with light decorative borders with the distributors name and state. It is in a 1-pc walnut stock with cheek piece and smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fair. 50% bbl patter remains. Missing one ramrod guide. Broken nosepipe. Locks, trigger guard and buttplate are a dark brown patina. Wood is fine showing much wear. 4-49017 JR83 (250-400)

LOT OF TWO ANTIQUE DOUBLE BARREL GUNS. 1) Cal. 12 bore percussion. English made Parker brand with 30” Damascus bbls, 1-pc walnut stock with nicely checkered wrist with “Parker” on each lockplate. NSN. CONDITION: Replaced hammers and new nipples, quality modern horn-tipped ramrod. Bbls dark brown patina with heavy pitting at the breech end. Good wood. Lots of original finish, functions well. 2) Under-lever combination gun with 28 ga. shotgun bbl and 45 cal. rifle bbl by H. Rogers Sons & Co. of London. Bbls are 25-5/8”, Damascus with fine bladed front sight and four-leaf express sight, one standing three folding. Back action locks, lightly engraved. Nicely figured wood, splinter forearm and straight stock with heel and toe plates. NSN. CONDITION: About good. Bbls are a light brown patina. The receiver and lockplates are a blue/gray patina. The stock has two repaired breaks to the wrist, otherwise retains 50-60% original finish. The forearm is missing the insert and the lever spring is broken. Beautiful Martini action German free pistol with 11” tapered oct bbl, ramp front sight with wings and receiver mounted micrometer adjustable rear sight. It has a tiny checkered and carved forearm with beautiful adjustable free pistol, checkered and carved target grips. The top flat of bbl is matted, with the name “Louis D. Kernell” engraved about the middle. The right flat in the same area is marked “Udo Anschutz” with same name and address by the serial number on the rear of the frame. The frame is beautifully engraved with foliate arabesque pattern engraving having a very fine punch-dot background. The cocking lever is on the left side of the frame. It has a fully adjustable trigger with screw extension. It is accompanied by its original leather suitcase-style carrying case, which has what is presumed to be the original wood-handle cleaning rod in the lid. There is a small compartment in the lid, which contains a spare front sight, two spare hammer springs, and an action key with screwdriver and a chamber reamer. Another compartment in the body of the case contains a small cup of grease, a chamber brush and 3 U.S. military 30-06 headspace gauges. Accompanies is a sales receipt from Franz Merkel to 1st Lt. Louis D. Kernell dated July 6, 1945 for this pistol. Also included is an advertising page, in German for this pistol. Also included is a copy of the May 1948 issue of “The American Rifleman” which has an article on page 19 regarding slow-fire pistol shooting in which this model of pistol in mentioned. In addition, there are a number of papers regarding an order and delivery of a Smith & Wesson revolver. SN 6966. Fine custom, full stock carbine with 20” oct bbl, full length raised matted rib with pedestal mounted ivory bead front sight and 2-leaf gold line express sight and the makers name in gold inlaid about midpoint on the rib. The chamber end of bbl has a single wide gold band. The receiver, trigger guard, floorplate, grip cap, bolt handle and cutoff are very nicely engraved with very deep relief oak leaf and acorn patterns with fine stippled background. The left side of the receiver ring has a very nicely detailed raised gold elk and the right side and equally detailed raised gold cape buffalo. The floorplate has a very thick highly detailed raised gold European stag head. The bolt handle root is inlaid with two-color gold, oak leaves, and an acorn. The bolt body is very lightly herringbone pattern engraved and the bolt knob is knurled. It is mounted in a full length, very nicely figured, Claro walnut stock with a rosewood semi-schnable tip and has a European style wide monte carlo cheek piece with an inlaid 3-color wood grizzly bear. The rear edge of the cheek piece has a tiny carved African antelope, has a small rosewood diamond near the toe and a square gold initial plate just above the diamond. It is 13-3/8” over a basketweave pattern horn buttplate. The wrist and forestock are extensively checkered in about 24 lines per inch with fine custom diamond patterns on the forestock. FANCY PHILIPPINO SWORD. Fine early sword with 25-3/4” curved, flat-ground, tapered blade with carved ebony handle and brass ferrule. It is accompanied by a raised carved mahogany scabbard bound with braided very fine wood strips. It has an ebony tip with brass band. The right side is carved in a raised pattern near the top. CONDITION: Extremely fine. The blade is clean and bright with a good edge. The handle has a crack on the right side and a couple of chips to the decorative carving. LIFELIKE DOLL OF HITLER. This old figural doll appears to be an artist’s creation, rather than a manufactured piece. The head is sculpted plaster, hand painted.
