REMINGTON LEE MODEL 1885 NAVY RIFLE. Cal .45-70. 32-5/8” round bbl. Standard Remington marking on the top and left side of the receiver. “U.S.N. / anchor / No3943 / A.C.D.” over the chamber. There is a trident mark on the right rear frame rail and an issue number 158 on top of the stock at the butt. SN 53456. CONDITION: Mostly blue brown patina with some scattered light surface rust and pitting. Wood has numerous scrapes, dents and scratches and appears to have been waxed. Action is fine, bore is bright. 4-49585 FS120 (1,000-2,000)
