*GERMAN G43 SEMI-AUTOMATIC MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 8X57. Standard WWII issue rifle with “duv 44” code, with 21” round bbl, high front sight with hood, laminated stock and forearm with black painted magazine. It has a sniper scope rail on the right rear side of the receiver and a trap in the sheet metal buttplate. It has 1200 yd military sight. The stock has several Waffenampt marks and is matching numbered to the receiver. SN 5196h. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching, retains most of its original finish to the metal. The receiver and bolt cover are very rough castings. The stock has some delamination near the right side cross bolt and the forearm has three repaired crack and it all retains most of an old refinish. Bright shiny bore. 4-49619 JR232 (1,500-2,000)
