LOT OF FIVE TEXTILE ITEMS. Lot includes: 56″ x 31″ hanging banner with St. Frances of Assisi having a silk brown background with metal silvered thread and sequins. Oval portrait of the Saint in landscape. 2) 77″ x 42″ multi-color poncho. Appears to be an early example having alternating stripes of green, yellow, black and maroon – some thread loss with holes and fraying. 3)70″ x 51″ bound edge material panel made in two parts, sewn at center with red, green, and pink stripes. 4) 68″ x 45″ patchwork blanket. Blanket has been backed onto a brown cloth. Made up of seven rows of seven rectangles, each decorated with squares with round centers. Appears to be quite early. 5) 41″ x 35″ decorated material panel, backed to a tan material and has an end fringe, four wide brown stripes with a band of stylized birds. Probably Central or South American and early. CONDITION: As noted above, all have some deterioration, fraying and losses. 9-91190 (300-500)
