JOSEF MUHR (Austrian, 1873-1912) “EDWARD VII”. Bronze bust of a man with mustache and beard wearing a military uniform laden with military medals. It sits atop a black marble base with name in gilt and fits onto a removable ebonized stepped wood base. The bronze is signed “J Muhr 1908” and stamped“kunsterzgiesserei th.th.srpek wien x. a.j.selzer ”. Edward VII was son of Queen Victoria, Prince of Wales, and reigned as King Of England from 1901-1910. SIZE: 11-1/2” h , total height 18-1/2”.
