DAUM NANCY CAMEO, WHEEL-CARVED & ENAMEL VASE Rare flying seagull decoration with two turtles and a setting sun. The seagulls and turtles are painted en grisaille. The sun’s rays are acid-etched with gilded highlights as well as gilding to the top rim and foot rim. Wheel-carving to the water waves and background around one of the turtles. A rare and unusual vase. Engraved signature on the underside “Daum Nancy”. SIZE: 15-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good with some wear to the enamel. 5-64998 (8,000-12,000)
