INTERESTING TWO PART ENGLISH QUEEN ANNE CAMPAIGN CHEST. Top section having two over one drawer, bottom section having two drawers. The slightly overhanging top has molded edge with matched burl veneers. The drawer fronts have band interior inlay against burl veneers. Period bale brasses and matching escutcheon plates. Applied bracket base with carved shaped skirt. Mid 18th Century. The chest has been split halfway and fits over the second drawer. PROVENANCE: From a Salem, Massachusetts home. SIZE: 39” h x case 36-3/4” w x 19-1/2” d. CONDITION: Veneer loss, in need of some restoration. 9-26569 (1,000-2,000)
