LOT OF TWO BISQUE HEAD CHARACTER BABIES. 1) 21” (53 cm) Hertel & Schwab incised, “152/13”. Having brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth w/four upper teeth, separately molded tongue and on original five-piece, bent-limb body (missing one pinkie finger). Appropriately re-dressed and wearing an antique brown mohair baby wig. CONDITION: Head very good; some wear and crazing to body. 2) 18” (46 cm) Kestner incised, “J. D. K. MADE IN GERMANY 14”. Having brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth w/two lower teeth and on original five–piece, bent-limb body. CONDITION: Head good w/very minor color loss to right cheek. Arms repainted. 1-4766 RS (600-800)
