DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.

DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 40-82. Spectacular deluxe rifle with 28” oct bbl, full magazine, highly figured deluxe walnut with checkered forearm and black insert pistol grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. It has an ivory bead front sight with semi-buckhorn rear sight. The entire rifle has been completely and spectacularly restored by Doug Turnbull recreating exact Winchester case colors and blue. Bbl either had the address and caliber re-rolled or it is a replacement bbl as the lettering is crisp with raised metal around it. Accompanied by Cody Museum yellow sheet. SN 64927. CONDITION: As noted, retains virtually all its brilliant restored finish to both metal and wood with one or two minor nicks to the wood. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-49965 JR217 (10,000-15,000)
