DRANER (French, 19th Century) PAIR OF COLORED LITHOGRAPHS. 1) “Prusse, 1862. Gendarme”. Shows a man with military helmet reading newspaper outside police station. 2) “France, 1863. Infanterie de Ligne Sappur”. Man in military dress with tall fur hat holding boxed gifts. Each signed in print “Draner” and marked “Imp. Lemercier…Paris”. Both identically housed in thin carved wood frames with beige mattes. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection. SIGHT SIZE: 12-1/4” x 8”. CONDITION: One has foxing, other is good. 9-25281 (100-200)
