*WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). Standard grade rifle with 24” oct bbl, full magazine, Lyman blade front sight with screw and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has nicely figured wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate without trap. Accompanied by Cody Museum yellow sheet. SN 708852. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains virtually all of a Turnbull restoration to both metal and wood. The blue is fine and the case colors are true and brilliant on the lever, hammer foreend cap and buttplate and with brilliant niter blue on the loading gate. Wood finish is spectacular and would pass for original except for a couple of small filled spots in the forearm. Bright shiny bore. 4-49974 JR196 (4,000-7,000)
