Unusual subject shows a one-piece carving in walnut of a boy standing holding a bunch of newspapers under one arm and holding a newspaper in the other with “Extra” carved into the side. His mouth is open suggesting he is shouting “Extra!” Part of the carving is a 2” h square base carved “By J Pentels”. SIZE: 12” h. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96578 (300-500)
