KEITH MILLER (American, 20th Century) “SAPPHO AND LIVONIA”. Large watercolor shows the Sappho and Livonia in full sail racing on a blue ocean followed by a large steam yacht with people and steam sidewheelers. Both of these yachts raced in America’s Cup races. Signed lower right “K. Miller”. Housed in an outstanding gesso decorated frame with tan liner and hand colored matte. Label on reverse from Donald A. Heald Fine Arts, New York indicating artist. PROVENANCE: Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, Hawaii. SIGHT SIZE: 17” x 29”. CONDITION: Some minor foxing to top corners.
