GEORGE BENJAMIN LUKS (American, 1867-1933) “DISTANT VIEW OF NIAGARA FALLS”. Watercolor shows Niagara Falls from down stream looking along tree covered banks from small bluff. Titled in pen at top of watercolor. Signed bottom right “Geo. Luks”. Housed in a fancy gesso decorated frame with white liner and beige matte. PROVENANCE: A note on back from Mrs. George Luks concerning this watercolor as being by her husband. SIGHT SIZE: 7-1/2” x 9-1/2”. CONDITION: There are some light folds that can be seen.
