*COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). Blue and case colored with 7-1/2” roll-marked bbl and rampant colt hard rubber grips. The left side of bbl is marked “COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER”. SN 282706 CONDITION: Good to very good, all matching except the grips, which are numbered “3706”, probably an assembler’s mistake. Bbl retains about 70% strong original blue. The frame retains 10-15% case colors, mostly in sheltered areas. The hammer retains 40-50% dark case colors. The front and backstraps retain 85-90% thin blue mixed with light patina. The grips are fine, in need of cleaning, showing moderate wear. Strong bright bore with fine pitting.
