INTERESTING EARLY MINIATURE HIDE COVERED TRUNK. Loose note inside states “Mrs. William P. Mills had this trunk given her by her Uncle Oliver Page when she was ten(10) years old. She is now eighty (80) years old Aug, 24, 1903. Lillian J. Crockett”. We are told that Lillian was a direct descendent of Davy Crockett. This small trunk with mirror inset to inside of cover slight dome box has decorative clover and star decoration. Swing handle to top and decorated paper bottom and interior. SIZE: 2” h x 4-1/4” w x 2-1/2” d. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96136 (100-200)
