RARE COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY FLATTOP TARGET REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Colt. Beautiful all-blue revolver with 7-1/2” bbl, square base target front sight with fixed standing blade rear target sight and checkered trigger. The trigger, screws and cylinder pin are niter blued and it has rampant Colt black hard rubber grips. There are small British proofs over each chamber. SN 155912. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains most of its beautiful dark blue, possibly a very old refinish. There is miniscule sharp edge wear and some slight thinning to the backstrap. The sides of the hammer are polished bright. Moderately worn grips, the chambers are bright with no pitting. The bore is bright and shiny with scattered light pitting.
