HUBLEY AMERICA AIRPLANE. One of the largest cast iron airplanes ever produced this 3-prop plane with pilots in an open cockpit was quite the toy for a young man in the 1930s. From a series of pulleys and rubber tired wheels, the toy when pushed along would have all 3 props spinning in anticipation of taking to the air. Attractively painted in gray with red highlighting and nickel-plated hubcaps and props this toy is quite impressive. SIZE: 17″ wingspan. CONDITION: Good to very good with no apparent breaks or repairs. 1-6012 JL (1,800-2,200)
