MASSACHUSETTS HEPPLEWHITE INLAID MAHOGANY ROUND DINING TABLE HAVING FOUR ADDITIONAL LEAVES. First half of the 19th Century. Extension table with circular top projecting above a conforming apron of figured mahogany with rosewood cross banding and string inlays raised on ten tapered square legs with cross banded and string inlaid cuffs. SIZE: Each additional leaf measures 17-1/2″ w for total of 70″. 30″ h x 50″ dia x 120″ l (with all leaves). CONDITION: Surfaces have been repolished, legs have been strengthened and added to and the original position of the four outside legs have been altered. My opinion is that additional legs have been added to the table giving the total number now of 10. Otherwise nice condition with good color and presence. 9-91504 (4,000-6,000)
