1830s PAPIER MACHÉ SHOULDER HEAD DOLL. So called “milliner’s model” on firm leather body w/carved wooden arms and legs (lower left foot missing). Elaborate early hairstyle wearing original clothes and apron. CONDITION Face in overall good condition for age, however considerable lifting of paint and gesso on shoulder plate and a dent in the back of the hair. 1-5024 RS (800-900)
