Dear Chip, You have been of great help to me in the difficult process of interchanging thoughts through the medium of two widely divergent languages. Your precise knowledge of the meaning of the Russian language as well as your understanding of the Russian mentality have made a real contribution to my important talks in Tehran. You have translated my words and my intent with such ease that I have the feeling Marshal Stalin has thoroughly understood my meaning. With my thanks and all good wishes, Very sincerely yours, Franklin D. Roosevelt Mr. Charles E. Bohlen”. Housed in a simple black modern frame. SIZE: Letter is 10-1/2″ x 8″.
