WW GREENER MASSIVE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 8 bore. Fine English double with 36” damascus bbls with smooth concave rib bearing the maker’s name and address and advertising information and “Made for F.L. Bartlett”. The breech end of the rib also has patent information regarding the rib extension. Bbls are made with double bite and the patented. Greener cross bolt rib extension. The receiver is box lock design with square back edges and about 40% coverage fine arabesque pattern engraving. It has the Greener thumb safety on the left flat of the stock. Wood is highly figured dark English walnut with splinter forearm, which is missing the ebony tip, and semi pistol grip stock that is 14-1/8” over a thick checkered horn buttplate. It has double triggers and extractors. SN 30539 CONDITION: Very good, bbls retain 40-50% thin, worn, brown damascus pattern with a spot or two of crusty rust and fine surface rust on the bottom. The receiver has traces of case colors in sheltered areas with the balance turned silver. The stock has a hairline in the back of the top tang, another in front of the safety plate and the forearm is missing its tip, Otherwise the wood is sound, very dark and oil stained showing heavy wear.
