SEARS GALLAGHER (American, 1869-1955) “SUMMER CLOUDS – GLOUCESTER”. Fine watercolor scene shows sunlight reflecting on surface of water with a puffy white cloud and blue sky. An inlet is seen with rocky shore and low hillside beyond. One lone sailboat is seen with no sail. Signed lower right. Housed in a silver gilt stepped wood frame and white matte (toned).
