LC SMITH GRADE 2 DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Fine early damascus LC Smith with 32” bbls choked FULL/FULL. It has concave matted tapered rib with double ivory beads. The receiver and lockplates are lightly engraved with fine arabesque patterns. The opening lever has a brazed repair. Wood is very nicely grained slab sawed walnut with black tipped splinter forearm with the dog’s head gutta percha insert. The stock has a capped semi pistol grip, 13-1/4” over the early, deep, dog LC Smith logo hard rubber buttplate. It has double triggers and extractors. SN 39430. CONDITION: Very good to fine, bbls retain about 90% fine brown damascus pattern with a couple of small dings on the rib. The receiver and lockplates are silvered case colors with the front end of the receiver polished. The trigger guard retains about 50% cold blue. The stock has a couple of hairlines in back of the lockplates otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of a fine professionally restored finish including re-cut checkering.
