ENGLISH GEORGIAN CARVED MAHOGANY LIBRARY ARMCHAIR. Rectangular padded back with straight top rail having padded arms on down curving leaf and flower carved arm supports. The seat raised on front carved square legs supported by a dovetailed stretcher. Appears to be 18th/19th Century. Stripped of its upholstery but horse hair foundation present. Wonderful carving in an early English armchair. SIZE: 36-3/4” h x 28” across front legs x 14” to top of seat rail. CONDITION: Some early repair, generally very good. 9-27074 (2,500-3,500)
