TWO NEEDLEWORK SAMPLERS. 1) Needlework sampler by Camilla Jensen, 1886. The red stitched alphabet rows end with six numbers. The open bottom area with name and date. Housed in a gold leaf wood frame. SIGHT SIZE: 13-3/4” x 14-/4”. CONDITION: Browned overall, good. 2) Black stitched needlework sampler by Rose Chapman, 1844. Two alpha numeric rows, two three-line verse. Signed “Rose Chapman Finished July 1844”. A flower vine border. Housed in a modern molded wood frame. SIGHT SIZE: 11-1/4” x 12-1/4”.
