19TH CENTURY LITHO OF STEIN BARKENTINE “MORNING STAR”. Bath, Maine August 6, 1884. Sailed from Boston, November 5, 1884. Lower portion of the border is a contribution form which states “This may certify that ______ has contributed _______ dollars towards the building of the Fourth Morning Star for the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions”. The ship was a missionary ship. Nicely matted and framed in a contemporary dark wood frame. SIZE: Sight: 21-1/2” w x 18-1/2” h. Frame and matte included is 28-1/2” x 25-1/2” h. CONDITION: Tear in right margin folder upper right corner, fold across bottom, toned, otherwise good. 9-92230 (700-900)
