CASED BRITISH BULLDOG REVOLVER.

CASED BRITISH BULLDOG REVOLVER. Cal .44 Bulldog. Belgium made revolver with 2-1/2” ovoid shaped bbl, unfluted five shot cylinder, articulated rammer with 2-pc ivory grips. The frame and backstrap are lightly engraved with arabesque patterns. The top strap is engraved “BRITISH/BULL DOG”. The right front side of the frame is marked “LT”. Accompanied by an English oak casing with blue felt lining that has replaced cartridge block containing 8 rounds of ammunition, two small oak rests, a reproduction wiping rod and a new nickeled oil bottle. The oil bottle holder and bottom of the wiping rod compartment are new, balance of lining is old. SN 5. CONDITION: Good, retains most of an old renickel that has thinned out the engraving. Grips are fine, mechanics are fine, bright bore with light pitting. The case is sound with the original felt slightly faded and soiled. 4-49930 JR481 (300-500)
