SMITH & WESSON 2ND MODEL AMERICAN REVOLVER. Cal. 44 American. Usual configuration with bbl reduced to 6” and the front sight moved accordingly. It has 2-pc walnut grips. SN 22721. CONDITION: About good. Traces of the original finish remain in the very sheltered areas; otherwise the metal is a silver/gray patina with scattered light surface rust. The top sideplate screw is missing, as is the lanyard loop. Grips are fine and the bore is bright and strong with fine pitting. Bbl latch spring is broken. 4-49156 JR267 (450-650)
