CONNECTICUT RIVER VALLEY HEPPLEWHITE CHERRY CHEST OF DRAWERS. Circa 1810. The rectangular top with string inlaid edges above the conforming case fitted with four graduated string inlaid long drawers, each having a tear-drop inlaid escutcheon and retaining original brass hardware. Case with string inlaid canted corners raised on flared French feet. SIZE: H 36-3/4”, overall width 39”, D 20-1/4”. CONDITION: Professionally restored and re-polished with minor shrinkage cracks on left and right side of case and restoration to feet; otherwise, very good condition. 9-91875 (2,000-3,000)
